Universal Business Team is seeking a Technical Area Sales Manager to drive sales across London, Kent and East Anglia with a technical consultative approach. The role combines new business development with in-depth product knowledge of pumping solutions and close collaboration with internal teams.

The position offers £45,000-£55,000 base salary plus uncapped monthly bonus, company car and fuel card, with hybrid working options and ongoing product training.

Qualificações

• Experience in B2B technical sales or technical business development.
• Background in construction, housebuilding, civil engineering, drainage, water, wastewater or related technical industries.
• Ability to understand complex product specifications and communicate technical information clearly.
• Knowledge of compliance, technical standards or regulated product environments.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills beyond price.
• Proactive approach to business development, pipeline management and performance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsabilidades

• Influence technical specifications early in the design process with customers.
• Navigate pumping station design and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify suitable pumping solutions aligned with project needs.
• Develop relationships with housebuilders, developers, contractors and consultants.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry to quotation, negotiation and order.
• Coordinate with internal Technical & Design, Estimating and Operations teams for handover.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
