Job summary

Simpson Recruitment Services is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover the M1 corridor from Leicester to London. You will manage and grow existing accounts, generate new enquiries, and participate in technical site visits to sell refurbishment projects, booster sets, pumps and related services across the region.

The ideal candidate has technical sales experience, preferably with knowledge of the water industry or building services, and a proven ability to win new business.

• Willingness to participate in site visits and presentations.

Job description

Our client is a trusted provider of standard and bespoke pumping solutions, with 35 years of industry experience behind them.

With extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, they design and build their own range of cold-water booster sets and sealed system pressurisation units, alongside bespoke specialist pump solutions and offsite-engineered products such as packaged plant rooms and skid packages.

Their wider business includes distributing major pump brands, plus commissioning, servicing and maintaining both their own products and those of all major pump manufacturers. They deliver product sales and projects to the building services and built environment sectors.

They are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the M1 corridor from Leicester down to London. Whether you're an experienced pump industry professional or an internal salesperson with sector knowledge ready for your next step, this could be the role for you.

The role

• Manage and grow existing accounts
• Generate new enquiries and meet with new prospects
• Join technical site visits with the team, selling refurbishment projects, booster sets, pumps, engineering equipment and services, including repairs and installations, across the region

About you

• Technical sales experience, ideally with knowledge of the water industry or building services / facilities management

The package - OTE of circa £55,000 – £65,000, depending on experience plus car etc
