Job summary

Braden is seeking a technically driven Technical Proposal Engineer for our Product Solutions team in Cramlington, UK. You will translate customer specifications into practical engineering solutions and support bid leaders with competitive technical and commercial proposals.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management across international accounts to ensure compliant, cost-effective solutions while driving quality improvements and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/FdEng in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Experience in engineering, applications engineering, manufacturing, proposal support, or related technical role.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer specifications into practical engineering solutions.
• Perform technical evaluations and calculations for proposals.
• Help prepare technical proposals, compliance documentation, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Bid Leaders, Engineering, Purchasing, Project Management and suppliers.
