Micro:bit Educational Foundation is seeking a confident Technical Project Manager for an 18-month contract, guiding hardware and software delivery across the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering teams, Product Owners, and suppliers, ensuring schedules, budget, and quality compliance.

The role blends hands-on governance with proactive process improvements. You will work hybrid from Oxford and home, traveling occasionally to meet suppliers or productions, with probationary

Qualifications

• Develop technical project management systems within the Foundation governance framework.
• Create clear project deliverables and KPIs; measure and report status.
• Apply risk management; maintain the risk register and escalate as needed.
• Communicate with stakeholders to achieve shared aims.
• Work with Product/Service Owners to define work packages.
• Familiarity with engineering change processes and configuration management.
• Utilise project scheduling tools such as monday.com and GitHub.
• Desirable project management qualifications (Prince2, Agile, PMP or MSP) though not essential.

Responsibilities
