Job summary

In Phase International Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead delivery of connected hardware and software projects from concept through mass production. Qualifications

• 5+ years leading technical delivery or project management for connected hardware or IoT products.
• Experience managing China/Asian supply chains and offshore contract manufacturers through NPI processes.
• Solid understanding of embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, firmware interaction with apps and cloud platforms.
• Experience taking products through EVT/DVT/PVT, tooling sign-offs, factory ramp-up, and mass production.
• Ability to work full-time on-site from office HQ with technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive hardware and software delivery schedules from prototyping through mass production and post-launch updates.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for overseas contract manufacturers and ODMs across China and the Far East.
• Manage factory schedules, tooling sign-offs, component lead times, and offshore build quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional work streams across mechanical/electrical engineering, embedded firmware, mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify risks, lead times, and quality bottlenecks; establish contingency plans to protect delivery timelines.
• Define and track delivery metrics, manage ECOs, and oversee factory acceptance testing and firmware release validation.

Job description

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require 5+ years of experience leading technical delivery or project management for connected physical products, IoT, consumer electronics, or automotive hardware integrated with software platforms.
• We require direct, hands-on experience managing China or Asian supply chains, offshore ODMs/OEMs, and contract manufacturers through formal NPI processes.
• We require a solid understanding of embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, board bring-up, and how firmware interacts with mobile apps and cloud platforms.
• We require demonstrated experience taking multiple physical products through tooling, EVT/DVT/PVT cycles, factory ramp-up, and mass production.
• We require the ability to work full-time on-site from our office HQ to collaborate closely with technical leadership and physical product samples.
• Experience in consumer electronics, dash cameras, automotive aftermarket devices, or connected telematics is desirable.
• Working knowledge of supply chain logistics, customs/import factors, and factory audit processes in East Asia is desirable.
• A hands-on technical background in engineering, software development, or firmware architecture is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We will have you define and track delivery metrics, manage product change requests (ECOs), and oversee factory acceptance testing, firmware release validation, and compliance sign-offs.
