iO Associates is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a flagship hardware and software development programme in Scotland. You will coordinate electronics, embedded software, FPGA, application software and mechanical engineering teams to deliver the project on time and within budget.
You will partner with Product Management and senior engineers, driving plans through the full product lifecycle and ensuring quality, cost and schedule objectives are met.

Following continued investment in R&D and the launch of a major new development programme, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex hardware and software engineering projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with engineering teams and wants to play a key role in bringing innovative products from concept through to delivery.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you’ll take ownership of a flagship development programme, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across electronics, embedded software, FPGA, application software and mechanical engineering.
Working alongside Product Management and senior engineering stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating and driving projects through the full product development lifecycle while ensuring delivery against quality, cost and schedule objectives.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong project management skills with genuine engineering credibility.
You’ll ideally have experience leading the development of complex electronic or embedded products and be comfortable working alongside highly technical engineering teams.
