• Min 3–5 years industry experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Proven project management record with an engineering/materials/technical bias.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cohesively in a team.
• Dynamic, open-minded approach with a can-do attitude.
• Strong MS Office, MS Project, presentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and communicate engineering/manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal/external key contact for projects, translating customer requirements and managing scope creep.
• Deliver projects on time, to specification and on budget.
• Direct a multi-functional team across Engineering, Quality and Operations.
• Lead New Product Introduction gateway process to deliver in a structured way.
• Proactive risk management throughout launch and project lifecycle.
• Detail cost, BOM and process control during the project.
• Maintain minutes and action lists; hold colleagues to account.
• Manage internal/external project plans and contribute to solutions when problems arise.
• Respond to new Statements of Work and support new bids/proposals.
• Prepare and support internal costings and external quotations for reviews.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence relevant to projects.
• Address shortfalls in personnel, technical or procedural capabilities to maximise success.
• Help define contracts in the best interest of the business.
• Provide periodic progress reports and recommendations to senior staff.
