Job summary

Carbon ThreeSixty is seeking a design engineer to lead the development and realisation of advanced composite products, interfacing with customers to capture requirements and translate them into workable solutions. You will coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, validated and delivered on time in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.

• Strong engineering background with fundamental engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop new designs and realise customer requirements with Engineering, Quality and Production teams.
• Create tooling designs, technical drawings and process instructions for manufacturing and inspection.
• Ensure smooth introduction of new designs into production with Manufacturing Engineers and Production Managers.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers; respond to RFQs and technical queries.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust solutions.
• Support implementation of process instructions and quality alerts where appropriate.
• Manage existing products; identify issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Execute ad-hoc engineering requests in a controlled, traceable manner.
• Assist with ongoing technical development of new technology and manufacturing processes.
