Job summary

Technify Talent in Reading seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead delivery of complex technology projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will oversee design, development, testing, deployment and handover within Agile frameworks to ensure value delivery.

Collaborating with customers, partners and internal teams, you will drive cross-functional delivery across software, systems engineering, infrastructure and security platforms, guiding teams to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical projects using Agile methods.
• Experience with AgilePM (DSDM) or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Strong technical background across software, systems engineering, infrastructure, or tech solution delivery.
• Degree-level qualification in CS/Engineering/IT or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Good grasp of governance, risk, quality, and change control practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to operate in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology projects within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and project leadership, requiring an individual who can oversee the full lifecycle of solution delivery from design and development through to testing, deployment, and customer handover. Working within Agile delivery frameworks, you will ensure solutions are delivered efficiently, meet customer requirements, and provide measurable business value.

You will work closely with customers, technology partners, and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions spanning software, infrastructure, sensor technologies, security systems, and advanced operational platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Provide technical leadership across solution design, systems integration, software development, infrastructure deployment, and testing activities.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional Agile project teams, facilitating delivery ceremonies and promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage project plans, product backlogs, release schedules, resources, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Oversee quality assurance, governance, reporting, and project documentation, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and delivery status to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience delivering complex technical projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience with AgilePM (DSDM) or similar Agile delivery frameworks would be advantageous.
• Strong technical background covering software development, systems engineering, infrastructure, or technology solution delivery.
• Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Experience using Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, quality assurance, and change control practices.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
