Job summary

NextLink Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead technology-driven projects within the global Digital Technology Patient Solutions team. You will bridge IT infrastructure, scientific systems, and pharmaceutical research stakeholders, owning planning, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery in a non-GxP environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on installations and configurations on production servers and workstations, with a focus on lifecycle management and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT infrastructure or system integration (8+ years).
• Proficiency in Project Management (3+ years).
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to resolve technical challenges and manage project slippage.
• Typically requires HNC/HND in CS/IT or related field with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from initiation to go-live within Patient Solutions scope.
• Perform application installations and configurations on servers; upgrade centralised scientific platforms.
• Manage Global Patient Solutions Lab projects ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Oversee scientific system upgrades, replacements and decommissioning activities.
• Bridge IT infrastructure and non-technical teams to translate directives into actionable tasks.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and identify risks or issues.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and report progress to sponsors.
• Work with IT Security and Compliance leads to meet requirements and generate status reports.
• Document systems and automate processes where possible.

A Technical Project Manager (TPM) working within the globalDigital Technology Patient Solutions (DTPS) team, who leads technology-drivenprojects from initiation to delivery, acting as the bridge between DT teams andPatient Solutions (Pharmaceutical Research) stakeholders. They are responsiblefor project planning, risk mitigation, resource allocation, and ensuringsoftware or infrastructure projects meet quality standards on time and withinbudget.

We are primarily looking for a candidate that has a strongtechnical IT background that also has project management expertise, rather thana dedicated project manager. The role will be hands on, so the candidate willneed to be comfortable carrying out installations and configurations onProduction servers and workstations in a non-GxP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• TechnicalDeployment: Overseeing all project phases, from initiation to go-livescientific systems within Patient Solutions scope.
  
• HandsOn Technical: Perform application installations and configurations onservers. Upgrade and lifecycle the centralised scientific platformssupporting the lab environment.
  
• ProjectManagement: Managing Global Patient Solutions Lab projects, ensuringadherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements
