Live Recruitment in London is seeking an Event Technical Project Manager to own the technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects, from initial quotes and kit specifications through to live event oversight.
You will advise on audio, video and lighting configurations, quote and monitor margins, coordinate with warehouse, operations and production teams, and produce technical plans, risk assessments and health and safety documentation.
Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home
Conferences, live shows, awards and exhibitions across London's most sought-after venues, and a full-service production company where creative, technical, scenic and content sit under one roof. An Event Technical Project Manager role with bespoke high-end work on the portfolio, international travel building in, and a funded development budget behind you.
This is a mid-size production company and full-service agency with 30 years in the industry, now operating across the UK and internationally. Every in-house specialism, creative, technical, scenic, content and production, sits under one roof, which means genuine collaboration rather than outsourced handoffs. Long tenure is the norm here with internal moves and bespoke roles created around individuals.
Reporting to the Head of Production, the Event Technical Project Manager owns the technical delivery of multiple concurrent projects, from initial quote and kit specification through to live event oversight, across a portfolio that spans conferences, awards, live shows and exhibitions.
The right fit for this Event Technical Project Manager role is someone who has worked hands-on in live events technical delivery and is ready to own the project management side, or already does. You should be able to kit-list confidently across at least two disciplines from audio, video and lighting, and be comfortable managing several events at the same time without dropping a deadline.
Candidates coming from a purely technical background who are actively stepping into an Event Technical Project Manager position are genuinely considered here, as are established technical PMs looking for more variety. Client-facing confidence and the ability to problem-solve under pressure on-site will matter as much as what's on paper.
Hybrid working, a funded development budget, international travel and bespoke high-end production across some of London's best venues: it's a strong package by any measure.
We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, embracing diversity across all intersecting dimensions, including ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, well-being, abilities, and neurodiversity. We are dedicated to ensuring a supportive and accessible recruitment process. If you require any adjustments or accommodations for any reason, please do not hesitate to let us know.
