Job summary

Nscale is building a world-class WAN capability to serve AI-focused customers across Europe. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager – WAN to lead planning, delivery, and coordination of backbone, interconnects, and site connectivity with high reliability.

You will work in Deployment, coordinating Network Engineering, Data Centre Operations, carriers, and commercial teams, with regular travel to sites. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in large-scale WAN or data centre interconnect

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical programme or project management.
• Experience delivering large-scale WAN or data-centre interconnect programmes.
• Solid understanding of WAN: BGP, routing, fibre, DWDM.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder programmes.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end WAN programme delivery, including backbone expansion, new site and region bring-up, capacity upgrades, and network optimisation.
• Build and manage detailed programme plans, tracking dependencies, identifying risks early, and keeping delivery on schedule.
• Coordinate Network Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Procurement, and external vendors to deliver against milestones.
• Manage carriers, dark fibre and wavelength providers, IXPs, and hardware vendors through ordering, provisioning, and issue resolution.
• Make sure WAN deployments meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements before they go into production and are handed to customers.
• Put in place processes, tools, and reporting that improve execution, visibility, and predictability.
• Give clear, regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes.
