Job summary

Amazon Cambridge is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to help scale our production platform for state-of-the-art generative AI into customer-facing experiences. You will drive cross-functional programs spanning engineering, scientists, and product teams, delivering timely, high-quality roadmaps and scalable solutions.

You\'ll own program schedules, influence architectural decisions, and partner with our GPU and AWS infrastructure to ship features that impact millions of customers

Qualifications

• Experience in technical program management with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
• Experience developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.
• Experience coordinating release schedules across cross-functional teams.
• Experience owning roadmaps strategy and definition.
• Experience in system design.
• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk management.
• Experience defining KPIs/SLAs for multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles
• Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on timelines and costs
• Work with scientists and software development teams to help define scope of products and enhancements we will be building
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up

Our team builds and operates the production platform that takes state-of-the-art generative models all the way to real, customer-facing products, and we're hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to help push the state of the art.

We own the systems that turn advanced models into high-quality, delightful output for customers. Our platform spans both real-time, low-latency generation — results in a customer's hands within seconds — and large-scale offline pipelines that produce content at massive volume.

Real customer impact — what we build ships directly to customers today.

Cutting-edge AI — large generative models served on GPU fleets, plus large language models that analyze and enrich content before it's generated.

Serious engineering breadth — low-latency streaming services, GPU model inference, and large-scale distributed batch processing, all on AWS (ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, S3).

A roadmap you'll help shape — expanding into new capabilities, new languages, and richer, more controllable generation.

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

• Experience in system design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management

• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
