Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Technical Production Operative for our Leeds site (LS14). You will operate machinery safely, perform changeovers, and support production planning to meet weekly demands in a busy industrial environment.

You will follow SOPs, engage in continuous improvement activities, and work across shifts with clear communication. GCSEs in English, Maths and Science/Engineering are expected; safety, quality and environmental procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Safely operate machinery following SOPs and safety instructions.
• Adhere to safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Understand AM principles and machine adjustments where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and follow SOPs to meet safety standards.
• Perform start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns, aiming for continuous improvement.
• Manage materials per production plan to meet weekly demands.
• Conduct daily checks, adjustments, and defect tagging in R2S process.
• Support problem-solving and participate in pit stops and de-briefs.
• Monitor quality, report issues and assist investigations using Q-EWO.
