We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager - Search and Recommendation to join our growing technical team at Joybuy (). Joybuy is JD.com’s European full-category online retail brand designed to bring customers a faster, more convenient, and cost-effective shopping experience. Offering same-day and next-day delivery across the UK, Joybuy combines speed, reliability, and affordability to meet the needs of modern shoppers. In this role, you will optimise the user experience for search, segment and personalise the customer search experience, and transform complex data into actionable insights that fuel business growth. You will work closely with engineering, data science, marketing, commercial, and operations teams to deliver user-centric solutions in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement product strategies for search and recommendation, balancing user experience with business growth objectives.
• Design and optimise traffic distribution mechanisms in search and recommendation scenarios to support initiatives such as new product cold start, seller growth, and best-seller acceleration.
• Ensure high-quality search and recommendation experiences tailored to the cultural and behavioural nuances of European markets.
• Manage product roadmaps and milestones, integrating user feedback, industry trends, and data-driven insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable solutions that align with JD.com’s global e-commerce expansion.
• Work onsite in London.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce search, recommendation systems, or shopping guide strategies.
• Proven track record in launching and scaling products, including successful delivery of minimum viable products (MVPs).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
• Solid experience in the retail sector, logistics, and/or e-commerce.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the Chinese language and a European language (French, German, or Dutch).
• Proven track record of large user base apps (e.g. managing app products with over 1 million daily active users).
• Experience working across different regions and diverse cultures is advantageous.
