Job summary

Joybuy, JD.com’s European full-category online retail brand, seeks an experienced Technical Product Manager to enhance the customer journey across mobile apps and web platforms in the UK. You will work with engineering, data science, marketing and operations to translate data into user-centric solutions in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will define roadmaps, address pain points, and drive features that improve acquisition, search, recommendations, and checkout.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in product management for mobile and web apps in e-commerce across Europe.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Business, PM, Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Fluent English; proficiency in Dutch, German or French preferred.

JD.com is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our growing technical team at Joybuy (https://www.joybuy.com/). Joybuy is JD.com’s European full-category online retail brand designed to bring customers a faster, more convenient, and cost-effective shopping experience. Offering same-day and next-day delivery across the UK, Joybuy combines speed, reliability, and affordability to meet the needs of modern shoppers. In this role, you will enhance and optimise the customer journey, address pain points in the customer experience, and transform complex data into actionable insights that fuel business growth. You will work closely with engineering, data science, marketing, commercial, and operations teams to deliver user-centric solutions in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and enhance opportunities within the mobile apps user journey, including features like new customer acquisitions, search, recommendations, promotions, product details, guided shopping, payment options and customer reviews.
• Define customer lifecycle and segments, establish performance metrics, and create a structured approach to product performance.
• Manage product roadmaps and launch milestones, integrating customer insights, industry trends, and data analytics to optimise user experience.
• Work with cross-functional teams to shape and implement app product strategies based on user needs and business plans that extend to our global markets.
• Empower Business Initiatives and facilitate decision making from both a user-centric perspective and machine learning capability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Recent 5+ years of experience in product management (mobile apps and web apps) in creating / mapping customer user journey experience from end to end in the e-commerce industry for European countries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate across various teams and leverage data for decision-making.
• Bilingual level language proficiency in English and at least one of the following, Dutch, German or French.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of large user base apps (e.g. managing app products with over 1 million daily active users).
• Experience working across different regions and diverse cultures is advantageous.
