Job summary

NOCN Group is seeking three Technical Product Developers with Construction experience to join our Product Development team. You will design, develop and review vocational products and assessments, ensuring alignment with external quality assurance and regulator requirements.

Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, you will build innovative assessment materials and maintain centre guidance, while collaborating with subject specialists and staff to meet customer demand and funding rules.

Qualifications

  • Educated to Level 4
  • Recent experience with awarding organisations or similar bodies to develop vocational and technical products in a competitive market
  • Experience of working in education or related discipline
  • Significant Construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, EPA models and regulated qualification frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and review products using project management techniques which ensure the involvement of key stakeholders including subject specialists and relevant NOCN Group staff
  • Design, develop and review products following NOCN Group processes an procedures to meet customer demand and expectations, and the requirements of external quality assurance regulatory and relevant sector bodies
  • Develop and maintain innovative assessment materials (knowledge tests, practical assessments, on-site assessments), including e-assessment implementation, item banking and online exam systems
  • Ensure products and assessment processes meet extra regulator requirements (Ofqual, ESFA, ifATE/DfE or equivalent) and funding rules; prepare product documentation, assessment strategies and centre provider guidance

Overview Of The Role

We are seeking x3 motivated and professional Technical Product Developers with Construction occupational experience to join our Product Development team. Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services aligned with NOCN's strategic objectives.
