Job summary

Catering in Bournemouth, Dorset, is seeking a technically minded Technical Product Analyst to oversee our technical product range and optimise supplier relationships, inventory and lifecycle management.

You will partner with Commercial, Operations, Quality and Finance to maximise margins, ensure compliance, and drive stock control while delivering accurate datasheets and robust data processes in our ERP systems.

Qualifications

Technical background in technical components, electrical or hardware products.
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/stock control software.
Analytical mindset with experience handling technical datasets.
Excellent negotiation and communication with suppliers and internal teams.
Attention to detail with accuracy in part numbers and datasheets.

Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing: support purchasing activity and negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and minimum orders.
Supplier Relationship Management: monitor supplier performance and resolve operational queries.
Inventory & Stock Optimisation: review sales trends and demand to maintain stock and minimise excess.
Technical Data & Compliance: manage datasheets, specs, part numbers, and compliance docs in ERP.
Commercial Analysis: analyse profitability, pricing, and market trends to support price lists.
Product & Portfolio Management: analyse market positioning for core technical product lines.
