ThruDark Limited is seeking an Apparel Designer to translate creative ideas into technically considered outdoor and sports garments. You’ll design within the Product Department, balancing aesthetics, garment construction, material performance and commercial requirements.

Collaborating with Product Development and Illustration, you will develop seasonal concepts, create sketches and technical flats, select fabrics and trims, and guide designs from concept through sampling to production while

Formación

• Experience designing technical, performance, outdoor or sports apparel.
• Portfolio showing design process, technical drawings and finished garments with personal contribution.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and ability to create detailed apparel flats.

Responsabilidades

• Develop seasonal design concepts for outdoor and sports apparel based on briefs and brand direction.
• Create product sketches and accurate technical flats showing silhouette, proportion and construction.
• Research materials and design developments, translating findings into purposeful designs.
• Select fabrics, trims and colourways to support use, aesthetic and brief.
• Collaborate with Product Development to assess feasibility and maintain design intent.
• Contribute to sample and fit reviews to refine proportion, detailing, function and appearance.
• Collaborate with Illustration to integrate artwork and branding into garments.
• Present ideas clearly and respond to feedback constructively.
• Manage designs against deadlines and keep information up to date.
