Job summary

Norwich City Services Limited is seeking a reliable Technical Ops Operative (Non Pest Control Trained) to join our Technical Operations team on site in Norwich. The role covers a range of environmental service tasks for Norwich City Council and commercial clients, including bodily fluid removal, lifebuoy management, stray dog services, graffiti removal, and specialist cleaning/clearances.

The ideal candidate will have a Full Driving Licence, experience in cleaning or similar environmental

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential.
• Health & safety awareness is required for on-site work.
• Strong attention to detail is essential for task accuracy.
• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bodily fluid removal and other cleaning tasks.
• Manage lifebuoy equipment and related safety measures.
• Support stray dog services and related environmental duties.
• Perform graffiti removal and specialist cleaning/clearances.
• Conduct needle sweeps and other clean-up activities as required.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, professional and customer-focused Tech Ops Operative (Non Pest Control Trained) to join our Technical Operations team.

The role involves carrying out a wide range of services for Norwich City Council and other commercial customers, including bodily fluid removal, lifebuoy management, stray dog services, graffiti removal, specialist cleaning/clearances and needle sweeps.

The ideal candidate will have a Full Driving Licence, experience in domestic or commercial cleaning or a similar environmental service, and a good understanding of Health & Safety. Previous experience in safe dog handling, working at height or specialist cleaning would be advantageous. The role requires excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, flexibility and a willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

This role is for 37 hours per week, but to ensure flexibility and promote an inclusive workplace part time hours or a job share agreement will be considered.
