Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. in Evis is seeking a Technical Operative to operate and intervene on production machinery, performing first line troubleshooting to keep lines running at peak efficiency.

You will apply health and safety practices, uphold the site’s food safety culture, and monitor production processes to meet daily targets. You’ll analyse live performance data, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvements, aiming to reduce waste and sustain quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting with fast-moving processes.
• Good level of English and basic numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and intervene on production machinery; perform first line troubleshooting.
• Apply Health & Safety practices and uphold food safety culture.
• Monitor, report and interpret live data for performance evaluation.
• Deliver the daily production plan and meet operational targets.
• Assist with audits and ensure GMP in the department.
• Suggest and implement workplace improvements to reduce waste and raise quality.
