Avara Foods Ltd. is seeking a motivated Primary Team Leader to supervise the on-shift Primary Team and coordinate downtime events, aiming to protect bird welfare and maximise efficiency.

You will drive data accuracy, support the Shift Manager, and work with engineering to implement improvements that enhance OEE and achieve daily targets in a fast-paced production environment. Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment (ideally food processing).
• At least 2 years’ experience in a production supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
• A solid understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
• Proficiency with computer systems and production data tracking.
• Ability to train, coach and develop team members.
• Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Update and maintain information and performance tracking.
• Ensure all data/information is accurately recorded for Primary performance reviews.
• Work with the Shift Manager reviewing abnormalities on performance data.
• Liaise and contribute with all the Primary Team Leaders to ensure successful processing of daily targets.
• Be responsible for coordinating downtime and significant loss events in the Primary process.
• Assist the shift manager in ensuring the best possible outcome managing bird welfare, people and product.
• Work with engineering to make improvements for the areas, time scales and action plans.
• Implement improvements driven from the Shift Manager and Primary colleagues.
• Maximize improvement through continual review of operations and by instigating improvements where necessary and drive through any changes.
• Identify and target areas to improve OEE performance of the Primary process.
• Ensure schedules are reviewed and issues communicated and escalated.
• Coordinate with personnel, to produce quality products to schedule, whilst maintaining a safe, efficient and cost-effective operation with maximum utilization of resources.
• Review results from the area and report back to appropriate management team.
• Ensure employee and product safety always, ensuring full training is given according to task procedures and individual needs.
• Maintaining adherence to Avara Foods safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure all Company policies, standards, processes are met and adhered to by all personnel on shift.
