Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. in Evis is seeking a Technical Operative to operate and intervene on production machinery, performing first line troubleshooting to keep lines running at peak efficiency.

You will apply health and safety practices, uphold the site’s food safety culture, and monitor production processes to meet daily targets. You’ll analyse live performance data, support audits, and contribute to continuous improvements, aiming to reduce waste and sustain quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting with fast-moving processes.
• Good level of English and basic numeracy.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Are you looking for a new opportunity at Avara Foods? Join our team as a Technical Operative in Evis.

As a Technical Operative you will undertake machine interventions and first line troubleshooting in order to ensure the machinery runs to its optimum.

• Apply good Health & Safety practice in the department
• Uphold the site’s food safety culture
• Identify categorized birds in a fast-moving environment.
• Analyse, interpret and report live data for performance evaluation
• Deliver the departmental daily plan
• Maintain, monitor and achieve operational targets
• Monitor and improve product quality
• Perform production process checks in the department
• Apply food safety management procedures
• Continuously identify and implement workplace improvements
• Maintain and promote measures that support waste minimization and sustainability in operations
• Support internal and external audits
• Support GMP in the department

Working Hours

Sunday to Thursday

Sunday - 15:40 to 02:45

Monday to Thursday 18:00 to 02:45

Benefits

£17.35 per hour (paid weekly)

Shift allowance of £2.00 for any hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00

Earn a minimum of £788.5125 per week
