Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a Technical Operator in Rugby to oversee manufacturing processes, manage raw materials, and maintain quality and safety standards. The role offers day and night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement within a large beverage production environment.

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments is required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and control manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient production of syrups and ingredients.
• Manage preparation and control of raw materials, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Support production plans by coordinating with Raw Materials and Production teams.
• Perform quality checks and inspections and escalate issues as needed.
• Use SAP and other systems to manage inventory and stock control.
• Operate powered pallet trucks and conduct safety checks.

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 42 hours contract. Working 12 hour shifts, on a days and nights rotating 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. 4 x days (7am to 7pm), 4 x off, 4 x nights (7pm to 7am), 4 x off.

About the role:

Join Carlsberg Britvic as a Technical Operator and play a key role in producing the ingredients that help create some of the UK's most iconic drinks brands. This is a varied role where you'll oversee manufacturing processes, manage raw materials, maintain high quality and food safety standards, and support continuous improvement across the operation. An opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with systems and data, and improving day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment while developing their technical skills and knowledge.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Technical Operator. Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate and control manufacturing processes to ensure the safe, efficient and accurate production of syrups and ingredients required for production.
• Manage the preparation, handling and control of raw materials, ensuring compliance with quality, food safety and operational standards.
• Support production plans by working closely with Raw Materials, and Production teams to ensure materials and product are available when needed.
• Complete quality checks and inspections, escalating any issues and ensuring products meet required specifications.
• Use SAP and other business systems to manage inventory, product traceability and stock control activities.
• Operating powered pallet trucks where required, carrying out pre-use safety checks and inspections.
• Support continuous improvement activities, supporting Zero Loss, 5S and operational excellence initiatives across the department.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and workplace safety within all manufacturing areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to improvement projects while supporting the development of colleagues and sharing best practice.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of health & safety, quality and food safety requirements within an operational setting.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, manage priorities and deliver results.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
• Versatile and responsive, with the ability to collaborate across various production areas and adjust to evolving business needs.
• Careful attention to detail and ease working with numbers, inventory control, and production data.
• Continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, learning and operational excellence.
