The Technical Operations departments form the backbone of Red Bull Powertrains, providing a single source of truth for end‑to‑end planning‑spanning concept, delivery and operation of our power unit programmes. Within this, the Planning & Control team creates and manages detailed project plans aligned with business objectives, driving delivery, flagging issues and challenging priorities to ensure clear alignment of key activities and milestones across the organisation.
A crucial aspect of Technical Operations involves managing component demand, tracking usage and scheduling parts through our world‑class manufacturing and assembly facilities to ensure the right components are delivered at the right time. This requires close collaboration with multiple teams to coordinate the timely delivery of high‑quality parts based on priority and production schedules. Red Bull Racing’s Technical Operations also plays a critical role in ensuring power unit performance, reliability and efficiency throughout the Formula 1 season.
