Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, a solid background in health and safety, NEBOSH certification, full UK driving licence and proficient IT, with ex-military applications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in health and safety focused environments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement complex safe systems of work.
• Strong planning, auditing and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Full UK driving licence and NEBOSH certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all rescue activities across the organisation.
• Develop quality technical risk assessments, method statements and emergency rescue plans.
• Ensure all staff are properly trained, competent and certified.
• Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance with safety protocols, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Actively engage in business development opportunities and assist in the continued growth of the business.
• Build ongoing relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
• Support the Head Office facilities and be trained as First Aider, Fire Marshal or Mental Health First Aider.
