Job summary

FNZ is seeking a Technical Lead to provide day-to-day technical delivery and support for an operations team within the Investment Operations pillar. You will ensure service standards, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management for corporate and retail clients.

The role requires leadership in change governance, cross-functional collaboration, and engagement with external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class operational services.

Qualifications

• Significant technical operations experience within wealth management or platform delivery.
• Broad knowledge of platform industry from retail clients to asset servicing.
• Proven track record in operations management roles.
• Experience delivering client services in a financial services setting.
• Extensive technical operations knowledge relevant to the team remit.
• Experience in change management and governance processes.
• Knowledge of UK financial services regulations (CASS, COBS, COLL, SYSC) and HMRC rules.
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance policies in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical development of the team's purpose and service delivery.
• Support and contribute to strategy development and targets for the team.
• Oversee change governance for scalable, compliant technology solutions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk reporting to leadership.
• Provide technical engagement for audits, client visits, and governance meetings.
• Lead the team to deliver first-class service to clients and internal partners.
