Tec Partners Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Technical Operations Engineer to install, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems at customer sites across the UK and Europe. You will build strong relationships with customers, provide ongoing technical support, and coordinate deployments while ensuring high reliability and performance.

The role welcomes engineers from a variety of backgrounds with 2+ years of experience; field service is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2+ years engineering experience after graduation or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel UK and Europe on a regular basis.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel overnight as required.
• British citizenship or permanent right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

Technical Operations Engineer

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Travel: Regular UK & European travel, including overnight stays

We're recruiting for a Technical Operations Engineer to join an innovative, growing engineering business developing advanced robotic and automation technology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with customers and travelling to different sites across the UK and Europe.

The business is open to candidates from a variety of engineering backgrounds, with field service experience particularly attractive due to the customer-facing nature of the role and regular travel requirements.

The Role

• Install, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot robotic equipment at customer sites.
• Build strong customer relationships, providing ongoing technical support.
• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Coordinate equipment deployments and ensure successful installations.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Work closely with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Provide hands-on technical support and training to customers.

What We're Looking For

• A practical engineering background, with candidates from a wide range of disciplines considered.
• Ideally 2+ years' engineering experience following graduation
• Field service experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Confident working hands-on with tools, diagnosing faults and solving problems.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• Comfortable travelling regularly across the UK and Europe, including overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.
• British citizenship or permanent right to work in the UK.
