Job summary

ONNEC Group in London is seeking a Technical Manager to lead telecoms infrastructure, ICT, and security deployments. You will drive multi-site delivery, support pre-sales, and ensure robust project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

You’ll guide teams, engage clients, and oversee post-award transitions, with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-time results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling, ICT, or Security in a management role.
• Proven experience delivering Hyperscale Data Centre projects.
• Strong project management expertise within IT and technical delivery environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site design and delivery activities.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation (specifications, drawings, schematics).
• Experience delivering services under formal sub-contracts.
• Proven ability to develop, review, and enhance project delivery documentation.
• Confident communicator with client presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience leading or supporting pre-sales activities.
• Ability to absorb, manage, and deliver new services and applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team with PQQs and operational assistance.
• Provide operational support and input into Pre-Sales to improve proposals and mitigate issues.
• Build or assist in building project schedules at tender stage.
• Examine project specs and drawings to highlight RFIs and ensure accuracy post award.
• Support commercial teams with technical contract reviews.
• Post-award, provide pre-construction services for a smooth site start.
• Help build installation and test result trackers.
• Advise on testing requirements to PD/OM/PM.
• Ensure engagement reviews and QA procedures are in place.
• Review project risks and issues and provide accurate assessments.
