Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Design & Estimation Consultant to join our team in London. You will deliver innovative design solutions and accurate project cost estimates for structured cabling and connectivity infrastructure within data centre and critical environments.

You will work with Sales, Commercial, and Operations throughout the lifecycle, producing high-quality technical designs, detailed cost models, and supporting documentation to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience in designing and estimating structured cabling and ICT infrastructure.
Experience with data centre and critical infrastructure projects.
Ability to produce accurate cost estimates and budgets.
Experience across full lifecycle from pre-sales to handover.
Understanding of contractual risk and profitability.

Responsibilities

Prepare client quotations through surveying, design interpretation and estimation.
Consult with sales, operations and commercial to ensure all elements of client requirements are captured within the costs.
Ensure quotations are returned within the required timescales.
Produce Pre Contract Reviews in accordance with company procedures.
Develop detailed general arrangement plans and layouts to enable cabling project implementation.
Coordinate project drawings across information to construction stages with other trades on site.
