Zusammenfassung

Low Carbon is seeking a skilled Technical Manager based in Gloucester to lead day-to-day technical operations for our renewable portfolio. You will oversee asset monitoring, remote diagnostics, performance analysis, and OT security, reporting to the Head of Technical Services.

You will act as the technical lead for communications networks, SCADA, and cyber security, driving continuous improvement and robust compliance across our assets in the UK and Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Control Systems or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing renewable energy assets, industrial control systems, or OT environments.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, industrial communications, telemetry, networking, and remote monitoring platforms.
• Experience managing communications infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and remote connectivity.
• Demonstrable knowledge of OT cyber security principles and standards (IEC 62443, NIS/NIS2, ISO 27001).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).

• Lead asset monitoring and performance management to optimise availability and reliability.
• Coordinate remote fault diagnostics and remote maintenance activities.
• Oversee remote operations ensuring safety and grid/compliance requirements.
• Provide timely fault reporting and stakeholder updates with clear documentation.
• Develop technical documentation and operating procedures, and mentor operational staff.
• Drive OT cyber security across the portfolio and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and asset management teams for continuous improvement.
