Job summary

SSE is seeking a professional to join the Renewables Digital OT team, supporting a fleet of Hydro, Wind, Solar and Battery assets. You will combine OT and IT knowledge to diagnose incidents, develop secure, reliable solutions, and participate in standby rosters.

The role offers permanent full-time employment with flexible-first options, base locations in Glasgow, Perth or Reading, and a salary in the range of £57,150 to £68,295 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting business critical systems in medium/large organisations.
• Strong knowledge of OT/IT systems in an operational technology environment.
• Experience with incident and problem management and change management processes.
• Collaborative team player with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system availability, integrity and security with stakeholders.
• Own problems and requests; operate in pressurised environments.
• Apply change control and testing processes to deliver solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across infrastructure, applications and data.
• Contribute to incident resolution and proactive problem management.
