Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technical Manager for a rapidly expanding concrete manufacturer in Ashington. You will lead the technical department’s day-to-day operations and oversee design engineers, draughts people and other technical staff.

The role puts you at the heart of the business, with a salary of £70,000–£80,000 plus yearly and monthly bonuses, and an enhanced pension as the company grows from a 150+ headcount.

Are you a Technical Manager or similar, from a civil, structural, construction, or engineering background, looking for a high-status and leadership role, where you will be the go-to for all technical needs, at a rapidly expanding concrete manufacturer who are on track to have their best year to date?

Do you want to work in a role at a business growing at a rapid rate, who are the go-to for a variety of tier 1 contractors, supplying concrete for a variety of high-stakes projects including date centres and power stations as well as large-scale construction projects?

You will be responsible for planning projects, allocating workloads, and overseeing all technical processes throughout the project lifecycle.
