Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technical Manager for a rapidly expanding concrete manufacturer in Ashington. You will lead the technical department’s day-to-day operations and oversee design engineers, draughts people and other technical staff.

The role puts you at the heart of the business, with a salary of £70,000–£80,000 plus yearly and monthly bonuses, and an enhanced pension as the company grows from a 150+ headcount.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Manager or similar leadership role.
• Background in civil/structural/construction/engineering disciplines.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the technical department.
• Manage a team of design managers, design engineers, draughts people and technical staff.
• Office based Monday to Friday.
