Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Technical Manager for a leading food manufacturer. Based on site, you will lead a technical team, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and work with customers and senior stakeholders to deliver launches from concept to market.

You will develop the team, manage KPI reporting, and implement the technical strategy with a strong focus on food safety and quality culture. The role offers Monday–Friday hours, progression, and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Food-related degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the technical team and support succession planning.
• Manage relationships with service providers, suppliers and customers.
• Produce KPI reports for the site.
• Oversee technical management of the Launch process.

Are you a Technical Manager from a food manufacturing background looking for an opportunity to further progress your career within a market-leading food manufacturer, where you can develop strong working relationships and lead a technical team while driving improvement.

On offer is this fantastic opportunity to step up into a management role where you will take control of a key technical function, managing a team while supporting the implementation of technical strategy, food safety and quality culture plan.

This company is a well-established food manufacturer, producing premium British products, offering a great working environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your team, contribute to succession planning, work closely with customers and senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for leading the technical function, overseeing specifications, customer requirements, and the technical side of product launches from concept through to launch. You will also manage technical KPIs, support continuous improvement projects and develop a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.

This role would suit a Technical Manager looking for greater responsibility, leadership opportunities and a long-term career within a well-established manufacturer.

The role:

• Manage and develop the team, supporting succession planning and ongoing development

The candidate:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role
• Relevant IT skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Food-related BSc qualification or industry experience
