Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a mechanically minded maintenance technician for night shifts within a food manufacturing environment. You will be the first responder when production lines stop, diagnosing faults and performing mechanical maintenance to keep lines running.

You will collaborate with the Engineering team and external specialists for deeper faults, taking ownership to fix issues quickly and safely while prioritising quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• Previous Manufacturing and production line experience.
• Mechanical and/or engineering experience.
• Food Industry experience (not essential).

Role Summary

You’ll be the person that helps the team organise to make sure the plan for the shift happens on time and be the first responder when production lines stop. You’ll diagnose and repair faults where possible, performing mechanical first-line maintenance and preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep our machinery running smoothly. When faults require deeper expertise whether electrical or mechanical, you’ll work directly with our Engineering team or external specialists to get production back online safely and quickly.
