Job summary

Grass Valley Canada is seeking a Technical Learning Content Developer to create high‑quality instructor‑led learning materials and artefacts for technical audiences, working closely with subject matter experts, Product teams and the Learning team.

The role operates under a defined Statement of Work (SoW) with agreed priorities, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria, delivering labs, assessments, job aids, and videos for classroom and virtual delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing learning content for technical audiences.
• Experience creating instructor‑led training materials, including decks, guides, exercises and assessments.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
• Experience working with technical SMEs to develop accurate and effective learning content.
• Ability to structure and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Learning team, SMEs, Product teams, and stakeholders to capture and structure learning requirements.
• Design and develop instructor‑led learning solutions for technical audiences.
• Create comprehensive training materials supporting classroom and virtual delivery.
• Convert technical concepts into engaging learning experiences.
• Develop labs, hands‑on exercises, demonstrations, and scenario‑based activities.
• Produce technical assessments and certification‑related assets.
• Create job aids, quick reference guides, workflow diagrams, and learning videos.
• Facilitate review cycles to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
• Support QA, validation, and sign‑off activities.
• Maintain source files, version control, and handover documentation.
