Job summary
BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Technical Lead - Temporary Works to provide technical leadership across the business, acting as the technical authority and Designated Individual for Temporary Works Design. You will shape technical standards, lead engineering assurance, develop capability and champion innovation across projects and design teams.

Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer with a recognised body (ICE/IStructE) or equivalent.
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
- Extensive experience in temporary works design, assurance and governance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority for temporary works design across BAM UK & Ireland.
- Provide expert guidance and assurance on complex and high-risk engineering challenges.
- Lead governance, audits and design assurance activities across the business.
- Develop and maintain temporary works standards, procedures and best practice.
- Drive engineering excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
