Candour is seeking a Lead Technical Engineer I to own a core platform build and mentor a small, capable engineering team. You will hands-on develop features, drive architectural decisions, and shape the platform’s technical direction with a focus on AI-enabled tooling.

You will design and implement high-performance CI/CD pipelines, integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, and ensure quality through automated testing and code reviews. Competitive salary and benefits.

• Design and develop features across the entire platform.

Lead Technical Engineer I £85,000 - £95,000 + Benefits

My client is looking for an experienced tech lead to take ownership of a core platform build. While working with a small, talented team you will mentor and support the fellow engineers to maximise quality, ensure efficiency and take a hands on role building a new platform. This role has a focus on the use of AI with the expectation of fluency in AI coding tools, as well as the confidence to help support and develop the team in working this way.

What you will be doing
