Job summary

Feefo is seeking a Technical Lead to guide a cross-functional squad in building scalable, high-quality software that powers Feefo’s customer and merchant experiences. This is a partially hands-on leadership role blending coding with architectural decisions and mentoring.

You’ll set technical direction, collaborate with Product and Data teams, and drive performance, security, and reliability at scale while helping recruit and grow a diverse engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior or lead software engineer in a modern SaaS/MarTech environment.
• Strong mentoring and leadership experience across squads.
• Proven ability to align technical decisions with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to deliver high-quality code for Feefo's platform at scale.
• Define technical direction for your squad and drive improvements.
• Mentor engineers through regular 1:1s and reviews.
• Collaborate with Product to translate ideas into scalable solutions.
• Partner with Data to ensure features deliver meaningful insights.
• Own performance, scalability, reliability, and security throughout development.
• Improve delivery metrics like cycle time and deployment frequency.
• Contribute to platform modernization and define best practices.
• Introduce new tools and ways of working to accelerate delivery.
• Support recruitment by reviewing assessments and interviewing candidates.
