Job summary

Nando's Group in London is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for the Restaurant Ordering team to own engineering strategy, delivery and architecture across NCR Aloha, Stripe and internal systems.

You will line-manage a mixed team of software and ePOS engineers, review work, mentor staff and drive secure, reliable releases while aligning with product and operations goals across the restaurant estate.

Qualifications

• Strong breadth across cloud services, Windows server management and application code.
• Experience with TypeScript or Golang.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
• Proven mentoring and coaching track record with teams.

Responsibilities

• Own how the team runs, including stand-ups, planning and backlog management.
• Represent the team at the weekly delivery forum.
• Balance live-service support against project delivery while advancing the roadmap.
• Identify blockers and delivery risks early and make decisive calls.
