Job summary

Nando's Limited in London is seeking a Technical Lead, Deployment (Workforce) to lead the Deployment team responsible for the scheduling, learning and payroll related services that underpin every Nandoca’s working life. You will own team rituals, drive delivery and shape technical strategy across the stack.

You’ll stay close to the code, review and pair on difficult problems, and mentor engineers to build a kind, high-performing, safe-to-be-honest culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams and delivery.
• Proven ability to set technical direction and architecture.
• Experience with TypeScript/Node, CI/CD and cloud infra.
• Familiarity with HR/workforce platforms such as Workday or Okta.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Deployment team's stand-ups, planning and backlog management.
• Own the technical direction, architecture and solution design for Deployment products.
• Ensure engineering quality, resilience and security across releases.
• Line-manage and mentor engineers, supporting their growth and career progression.
• Collaborate with Product, People & Operations and external vendors (e.g., Rotageek).
