Version 1 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead with 10+ years in software development and at least 3 years in leadership. You will design and implement robust software solutions using Node.js, Express.js, React, and AWS, guiding teams through architectural decisions and delivery.

The role demands strong problem-solving, architecture knowledge, and a proactive leadership style in a dynamic, hybrid UK environment with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years in technical leadership in product development or services.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js and related frameworks.
• Good experience with React or similar frontend technologies.
• AWS cloud platform knowledge and certification.
• Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Database experience (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable software solutions.
• Ensure architecture is secure, maintainable and scalable.
• Lead and mentor development teams; provide technical guidance.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
