Job summary

Netcompany Group A/S in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Lead to drive technical direction, deliver high-quality code, and mentor a multidisciplinary team. You will work across services using Python, TypeScript, Terraform and AWS/Azure, choosing the best tools for each project.

You'll contribute to design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery, including hands-on coding, while collaborating with Product, UCD and Delivery teams to meet client requirements. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams with ability to define strategy and architecture.
• Full-stack or backend background with Python and TypeScript.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with AWS or Azure and Terraform.
• Experience delivering UK Government digital services and knowledge of the GDS NHS standard.
• Strong collaborative leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical direction of the team and ensure high-quality code.
• Support full software development lifecycle, including hands-on coding.
• Define best practices, QA, code reviews and process improvements.
• Lead projects from start to finish with stakeholders across disciplines.
• Mentor and coach developers to foster a high-performing culture.
