Job summary

Wayve, a leading Embodied AI company in London, seeks a Tech Lead Manager to steer Synthetic Data within Simulation for AV2.0 capabilities. You will guide a team of ML engineers and applied scientists, setting directions for generative world models, data generation pipelines, and large-scale training workflows.

You will mentor researchers and engineers, ensuring production-grade quality and impactful experiments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or applied research roles, with a track record of training and shipping neural networks.
• 4+ years of people management experience, including direct reports and cross-functional ownership.
• Deep knowledge of generative modelling applied to video or high-dimensional temporal data.
• Hands-on experience with video, generative or world models and related data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect the technical direction for post-training and conditioning world models for synthetic-data capabilities.
• Own end-to-end generation, evaluation and training with reproducible lineage.
• Lead from the front on key components, codebases and experiments.
• Drive throughput and yield with optimization and scalable workflows.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing ML team across research and engineering.
