Qualifications

• 5+ years of ML engineering or applied research experience.
• 4+ years of people management experience.
• Deep knowledge of generative modelling (diffusion, autoregressive, VAEs).
• Hands-on experience with video generation or world models.
• Strong Python and PyTorch engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect the future: set the technical direction for post-training world models and synthetic-data capabilities.
• Own the loop end to end: generation, evaluation and training with reproducible lineage from checkpoint to artefacts.
• Hands-on leadership on key components, codebases and experiments.
• Improve throughput and yield: inference optimisation and self-serve workflows for synthetic data.
• Champion change: push beyond incremental gains and question assumptions.
• Lead a high-performing, cross-functional ML team and align goals with company priorities.
• Coach and mentor team members and provide clear feedback.
