Job summary

Virgin Active is seeking a Technical Lead – Longevity to join the Digital & Technology Transformation Team. You will steer the technical direction for the longevity proposition across mobile apps, backend services and integrations, delivering secure, scalable solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. You will lead engineers, influence architecture decisions and ensure high-quality delivery within a fast-paced wellness tech

Qualifications

Extensive software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience leading engineers and setting technical direction across full stack.
Hands-on mobile and backend development experience.
C#/.NET development in Azure environment.
Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations and scalable architecture.
Experience integrating mobile apps with backend and third-party services.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and DevOps practices.
Collaborative problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical direction and delivery of longevity across mobile app, backend services, APIs and integrations.
Guide engineers and ensure secure, reliable, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align technical roadmap.
