Job summary

Virgin Active is recruiting a Junior Activities Supervisor to join our Family Activities Team. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for children and families, deliver fun activities, and support the childcare team.

You’ll work 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed, and play a key role in maintaining high standards of care, safety, and service across our junior programmes in a friendly wellness club setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a childcare-related field.
• Experience working with children in childcare, education, leisure or similar.
• Friendly, calm and approachable with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of Club V and provide a safe, engaging environment for children.
• Supervise the childcare team and maintain high standards of care and safety.
• Deliver fun, age-appropriate activities for children and families.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and caregivers.
• Assist with rota management and team organisation; uphold safeguarding policies.
