Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment collaborates with a fast-growing UK SaaS business to hire a Technical Lead Full Stack Developer. You’ll own end-to-end delivery, shape architecture, and guide a 10+ person squad. You’ll write production-grade code across the stack and mentor peers to improve quality, security, and performance.

Hybrid role based in Hampshire with occasional office days, working on modern cloud-native platforms and applying DevSecOps practices to ship reliable software for customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full stack development experience.
• 5+ years in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong system design and scalable architectures.
• Experience building large production SaaS platforms.
• Clean-code mindset with SOLID principles.
• Experience with mature CI/CD and deployments.
• Commercial mindset when designing software.
• Excellent collaboration with stakeholders.
• Interest in using AI to accelerate software development.
• Focus on performance, security and best practices.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across a high-performing development squad.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture and domain modelling.
• Build PoCs and spike complex areas of work.
• Break down requirements into epics and user stories.
• Develop and deliver production-ready code across the full stack.
• Ensure high quality, maintainability, performance and security.
• Support and improve live systems after deployment.
• Influence technical direction and tooling across engineering.
