Job summary

Siena Partnership is recruiting a Technical Lead to join the private equity-backed engineering team in London. The role blends hands-on software development with architecture, technical leadership and product ownership, delivering a central platform used by legal, compliance, tax, operations and investment teams.

The successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate with senior stakeholders. Hybrid working pattern applies; permanent, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Senior full-stack engineer transitioning to technical leadership while staying hands-on.
• Strong React + TypeScript expertise; backend in Python, Node.js, C#/.NET or Java.
• Excellent data modelling and SQL experience across reconciliation and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and technical direction of a modern full-stack application.
• Remain hands-on, design, build, review and ship production software.
• Lead and mentor a small, high-performing engineering team.
• Own the underlying relational data model and data reconciliations across systems.
• Set engineering standards, automated testing, CI/CD, code quality and reliability.
• Own delivery planning, prioritisation and technical roadmap.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across legal, compliance, tax, operations and investment teams.
• Translate complex business processes and regulatory requirements into software.
